When purchasing items at the grocery store it is important that you check expiry dates. Even if an item is reduced in price it may not be a wise purchase. Some grocery items that do expire may contain grain insects and or bacteria that may eventually cause an infestation in your dwelling. Be wise about your food purchases and be sure to always look for an expiry date! 

It is important to follow strict policies in order to ensure the removal of grain insects. All infested areas must be clear and emptied including the pantry, kitchen cupboards, and drawers. All infested food packages must be discarded and removed from the dwelling. All kitchen appliances must be pulled out approximately ten inches from the wall. Before restocking the shelves, shelf paper is recommended. Please do not wash cupboards, was only food preparation areas with hot soapy water after Bugland Pest Management Inc. has visited and applied treatment to the area.
